We have a client that has began to use Reapit Sales CRM for their property business. The application provider has essentially just said "it's TAPI compliant" and chucked it over the fence so the customer is now looking to us to make it work.

I'm assuming this is a "custom" CRM as it doesn't appear in the list in 3CX v18 integrations
The customer will need the 3CX app desktop app installed on their PC
As the integration piece is to notify/open a contact in the CRM app I assume we need an interface URL to point to the application with (from the application provider)
Or will this function using the Open Contact URL using Server Side CRM Integration?
Some magic trickery is then required to glue it together

Unfortunately the information from the application provider is pretty vague and the guides I've found so far regarding TAPI/CRM integration do appear to give me enough to go on.

E.g. for the 3CX install, where it pop's up the extensions box, do I assume it's just the extension number / name of the users 3CX extension?

Can someone in the forum give some insight to this? Thanks and appreciation in advance.

We tried to integrate with Reapit actual REST API and they weren't helpful indeed. Also, the API is not free, they charge for it and it's not cheap.

However, for most CRMs, these are the options:

If it's a desktop application CRM, then you can use TAPI with the DesktopApp/v20 Windows softphone.

If it's web-based, then you'll need to get access to the API and build a custom template for it.

Thanks @ConceptsWeb. I'll go back to Reapit and check on whether the app is a desktop install or web. If desktop integration section of the softphone be set as in the screenshot below?

Check also for the TAPI in the new V20 Softphone:

Hi,

does anyone know what kind of information will 3cx deliver via Tapi? A customer wants to see the duration time of a call. Will such information be delivered? Cusomer told that when he pick up the call the duration is not displayed
