recommendation for a fax adapter?

Anyone know of reliable fax adapter for the fax machine to fax out? Currently the 3cx is hosted in the cloud. So we cannot get a patton smartnode fxs adapter because the 3cx is not onsite. So I was wondering what do you guys recommend or will work with 3cx cloud hosted? Or is it better to get a standalone fax adapter, like the obi300? will that work?

Please share your experience what is the best and easy way to accomplish this to save some money on a analog line.

3CX does not support remote Fax extensions unless you are planning on using VPN. From some posts I've see you may be able to get it working using a "regular" extension. Faxing over VoIP is very fickle, I hope it works for you.

Patton Smartnode 4141 2 JS probably best to stay supported by 3CX:

As of the latest Alpha/Beta this model is also supported across SBC to the cloud however my opinion is stick to VPN if this is an off-premise solution.
