We have all seen the supported phones list. I have no experience at all with IP phones. We have been using Digital phones for a while. We currently have Mitel 8528 phones. So I'm switching to 3cx PBX System and need to find new phones. All that is required is that they are as reliable as the ones we currently have. We currently do not need fancy features or anything. We will be using softphones as well.

Any recommendations?

Also, any recommendations on 1 conference phone as well? Appreciate it!

Historically Yealink phones have been solid, but they are not preferred anymore for various reasons. The Snom phones were one of the early 3CX favorite phones and while they are not on the preferred list currently, I think that might be changing in the near future. You could also go Fanvil which is the current preferred phone. They are fairly inexpensive, and Fanvil seems to be working hard to make things work.

For a conference phone, you can look at something like the Yealink CP920, CP960

For desk phones you can look at the latest Fanvil X4U,X5U,X6U series especially if you want extra BLFs built in to replace the similar existing phones.

It appears that Yealink has become the popular vote while Fanvil is recommended by 3cx at the moment. Would you mind providing why Yealink are not preferred anymore?

So the why really isn't important from the perspective of do you want a 3CX fully supported phone or not. But suffice it to say that 3CX has their reasons. But at the end of the day, 3CX is a SIP standards compliant system so any IP phone that is also standards compliant can be made to work with 3CX.
