record only emergency calls

feature request: since we work with some schools, and some times kids like to hammer on the 911 calling for fun, can we possibly get the ability to record only calls to programmed emergency numbers? it would be handy for staff to have access to these calls audio files.

Hi @network51,

The recordings are done at the user level, so it is not being recorded on a per call basis. However from a report you can see the recordings on the users that were sent to a destination of 911 and hear the recordings from the report.

I am a bit surprised that you do not want to record all external calls (at a minimum). What if someone calls the school and makes threats to a teacher, etc. I would think the FBI would want a recording of that call. But, if you truly only want to record calls to emergency numbers, I encourage you to take a look at our 3CX Emergency Notifier tool. Our tool ensures every emergency call is recorded.
