Is there any means, or a plan of any means, to record Digital Assistant messages from a handset?
The reason I ask is I'm using a Nortel (Norstar) voicemail unit now, and I record everything from one of the phones.
The sound quality isn't too bad. Good enough for a small office (a few people). Not trying to sound like IBM or Microsoft, just provide information about special holiday hours, etc., without hooking up a mic to make recordings.
I was thinking that if someone used a handset that was assigned to the operator extension, it would be possible to tell 3CX that any greeting that you record for your personal mailbox would actually be saved for the Digital Assistant instead.
Maybe you can already do that, I don't know. So much to learn...
