Hi Team

I'm trying to upload a recording, which has the correct settings (WAV, Mono, 16 bit etc) but it says invalid filename.

What am I doing wrong? (new round here!)

Cheers
Alex

Have you tried renaming the file, to something smaller in length to see if this works.

Remove any special characters in the filename

Yes. The file name is 5 characters long, with no special characters etc.

Hello @AlexRoles

Which PBX version are you running? Also where are you trying to upload the recording? Are you trying to use it as music on hold or an IVR prompt?

Hi @YiannisH_3CX

Resolved this now, it was my browser.

I do have another question. I'm having some difficulty get my outbound caller ID to spoof as a different number. I'm using Gamma SIP trunks and I wondered if there was any specific settings for it?

Essentially, we have a temporary number whilst we migrate our primary number and I want the number to appear as our primary whilst the temp is in place.

Cheers
Alex

You will need to speak to Gamma, to see if they allow you to spoof numbers or ask Gamma if they can mask the sip number with your primary number.

If Gamma allow you to spoof , you would enter the number in Default caller ID , under Caller ID for the sip

Glad to see you were able to solve your issue.

As far as i know Gamma does support this but you need to contact them to enable it. If i remember correctly they call it "CLI Flex". Also make sure you use the default template to setup Gamma in the PBX. All the settings will then be configured for you.
