We noticed within the last week or so that our call numbers had radically increased when our workload had not. It seems that calls and recordings are being logged as multiple fragments that are time contiguous, that is, the end time of one fragment is almost the same as the next 'call' start time. These are not individual calls, they are one continuous call that is being logged as multiple calls one after another. As a consequence, we're having to download an entire call report and eyeball the blocks of calls that are actually one call to get an accurate tally of daily calls.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi Pathways,

I have the same issue. 3CX support ask me a lot of question that I cannot answer now like taking real-time logs with a Mac connected on the iPhone.

In my case I have only the issue with call done by the new iPhone app.

I currently do test by Turning off Wi-Fi Assist. I know a lot of teleworker have bad Wifi and internet connection. I will let you know if this solve my issue.

Max, I think that is the situation here, too. We have 8 folks working from home and those using their Snom D765 phones don't create multiple records, it's the folks using the iPhone app.

I appreciate your feedback and look forward to anything further you can add.

Hi,

Quick update about deactivate Wi-Fi Assist.

Same issue but in place to have 5 wavs, i have 1 or 2.

No issue on local lan via wifi. Maybe still an issue with wifi...

Let me know if you find something else.

Best regards,
Max

Is this for in and outgoing calls?

I cant say i'm experiencing the same problem. However, I turned wifi assist off my phone months ago.

Yes, in and outgoing calls. I've requested all our folks using the iOS app for work-at-home to do the same, turn off WiFi Assist.

We'll see if that helps, but certainly this does seem to be a very unhelpful by-product of a new 'feature' in the latest app iteration.
