Hello,
I am looking for the following solution:

I need to upload 5,000 numbers and send one signal to these numbers, after which they will be disconnected.

Is this functionality configurable?

Kind regards,
Mariusz

I'm guessing you need to call 5,000 phone numbers, play a DTMF, and then hang up. Is that correct? If so, you will need to create a dialer Call Flow Designer application. A starting example can be found here:

https://www.3cx.com/docs/cfd-predictive-dialer

Keep in mind you are limited to the number of simultaneous calls your 3CX license will permit so it is going to take a long time to call 5,000 phone numbers (depending on the size of your 3CX license). Do not forget that you also need to reserve some call paths for ad-hoc inbound/outbound calls by your staff and customers.

If you do not have the time or desire to create a dialer yourself, you may want to take a look at our 3CX Power Dialer. We have a campaign type for this very purpose -- dial a number, play a prompt, and hang up, and we can throttle the number of simultaneous call based on limits you set by monitoring the total number of active phone calls, and how many calls were initiated by the dialer. This is very different from what you can do with the "predictive" dialer example provided by 3CX.

You may also want to take a look at Ernesto's SIP Caller solution. He can provide a level of scalability not possible with a small 3CX license.

license for 8 connections simultaneously in 3cx, i.e. 5 connections would be optimal to leave a buffer.

Hello @Marius87,

By sending a signal you mean a DTMF tone?

A CFD app can't send DTMF tones, only receive them. You could play a WAV file with the sound of the tone recorded, however in many cases due to audio compression that will not work, and the tone might not be detected on the other side of the line. Also because of this, some endpoints will not even try to recognize the tone from the audio, and only accept the DTMF tones as RTP signals (RFC2833).

In any case, if you want to make a quick test and see if that tone can be recognized by playing a WAV file, you can try SIP Caller for free, setup a campaign in 5 minutes and check if this works as you expect.

BTW, with SIP Caller you can define how many simultaneous calls you want to make. This limitation is something not easy to implement in a CFD app... You can just control how many calls you start parallelly, but as you don't know how long they will be active, limiting the number of simultaneous calls is not easy.

To Ernesto's point, he is absolutely correct. You may be able to send the DTMF tones in the audio, but you will need to test. For example, we have a customer that plays audio DTMF tones to their overhead paging system to select the desired paging zone, but just because it works in that environment does not mean it will work everywhere.
