I have several users working from home for the my customers company. They all do their work using VPN + Remote desktop. If they use a PC, they are able to remote control the local installed softphone, so making ans answering a call can be done from within the RDP Session. However if they have a MacOSX PC, I see no option to use the local running Softphone from the Terminal server.
Previously, when there was a dedicated MacOSX client this was possible.
Is there a workaround or something I missed to make this work?

Unfortunately no. The macOS client is discontinued and will not be updated anymore. The only solution is to use the Webclient locally or try using audio over RDP (which sucks, trust me.)

While I think discontinuing the Mac client was a bad Idea, My question was If I can remotely operate the web client running on MacOSX from another webclient (running on the terminalserver).
In the pulldown on the webclient which phone to use you can select "webclient 127.0.0.1". That suggests there might be the option to use another webclient with a different IP.

On Mac OSX why not using Chrome or Edge Browser and configure it with their respective Browser Extensions ?
It will be a kind of client for you for the Mac OSX as it was the old native client.

Yes, I already did this:
On the mac:installed chrome, installed the browser extension. Granted access to microfone and speaker,
activated the browser extension.
Then on the terminals server, I launched the webclient, then looked into the menu where I can choose the "phone" to remote control.
But I dont see any other phone then the weblcient on the windows terminalserver.
I simply dont know I this should work.
Should this work or not?

Thank you.

The webclient can remote control others, but the webclient itself cannot be remote controlled.

Thank you John,
while this does not solve the problem of missing functionality because there is no working macosx client any more, I at least know I can stop trying to find workarounds.
I hope 3cx will rethink the decision to stop development of a native macosx client.
