Remote control missing on webmeeting

Hello,

We are not seeing the Remote Control option when we click on a participant name.

I'm talking about this : https://www.3cx.com/video-conferencing/remote-desktop/
And trying to use this procedure : https://www.3cx.com/user-manual/advanced-web-conferencing/#h.o4sslwua3vje

It seems that this functionality was disabled recently according to this thread but I can't find any official announcement anywhere.

Since we are migrating from MS Teams, our users are dearly missing this...

Can you tell us more? Or at least an ETA?

Yes. As long as the app passes the final tests tomorrow, we may be able to release it within the day.

Yes, we've released it and other features/fixes internally for UAT(user acceptance testing) for the moment.

I expect this to be out of the UAT phase and likely released end of August.

Apologies, along with Remote Control we've had to make additional major protocol changes that go hand in hand with RC as well as other security improvements.

I think we'll be able to release something at the end of this week/weekend if all goes well.

I know that 3CX had plans to offer an "On Premise" version of the Webmeeting service.
Perhaps that feature will return at the same time?

In any case, I'm confident that it will be a topic in a blog post if that functionality comes back.

Hi, did this ever get re-added, or did the deadline get moved again? It was a feature we used a lot because of the convenience, and helped to drive adoption of 3CX as a video solution amongst our users.

yes Remote Control is available now.
As host or co-host, clicking on the video of the user you want to control or on the participant tile in the participant column, you should find the item in the menu.
Can you confirm it, please?
