Remote Login into Hotdesking

Hello,

i searched the forum now for two days for an answer, so here my question:

Is it possible to remote login into a Hotdesking Phone?
The scenario is to create a booking system, where you can book your seat and then the hotdesking phone on that seat is automaticly provisioned to your extension.
Is there a way? And how?

Please note that by default this is not possible through 3CX as the user needs to input the login code and password to be able to login into the phone. Perhaps another user has implemented something similar or has an idea regarding this.

I dont really know where to start to search for an solution.
Whats happening when a user logs in with hotdesking. Is there a kind of rest-service answering to the phone? Is there a working point fior me?

I believe that it would be easier to use the web client for this task and Assign an extension to a user like a hotel booking. You can then clear the extension and have it ready for the next person.

We use completly hotdeskting in our company. Now we got a new floor which will be used as a part for normal parttime-workers and a part for homeoffice workers who got their own extensions already.
So we want a booking system for the available seats to have it less chaotic. And to prevent the workers from login in again into something (or perhaps forget about it), we would prefer to do it automaticly while booking the seat.

I should just have the option to tell the server the Name or MAC of the phone and the extension which should be assigned to it.

All posts are reviewed by their corresponding Departments and, if feasible and voted for by other users as well, may be implemented in an upcoming service pack or update.
