Remote office with 5 users

Hi I have a remote office with 5 users thats in a different time zone,.. I dont really want to have to buy a NUC or extra Sip trunks.. is there anyway I can have them working and connecting back to our main office? or main Sip trunk? they have desk phones and will use the mobile client

Well...the desk phones may work just fine using STUN, but, worse case scenario would be that you install a low cost Raspberry Pi SBC at that location.

If you use any mobile Apps, they will already make use of the 3CX Tunnel, so even if they were all being used , over Wifi, on the same LAN, there should not be any issues.

Extra SIP trunks should not be required as DIDs can de directed to the extensions, as if they were in the main office. In the same way, outbound caller ID can be configured to show the extensions DID, if supported by your provider. Everything that can be done with local extensions, can be done when they are remote.

Also, since you mention that they are on a different timezone, if what you are worried about is that the 3CX PBX's global office hours do not match their working hours, you could still have the DID's used by those 5 extensions to have their own specific Office hours and therefore allow routing calls to these extensions regardless of what is set in the 3CX PBX's global office hours.

If using the Extension Profile status auto-switching you can even have these extensions use their own specific hours.
