Hi People.

so have the 2 phones provisioned ok, i can see via the phone web interface they are registered. BUT there is no service?
i can see the 3cx phone book entries.

are there extra ports needed to allow line registration?

Cheers in advance.
James.

Guessing you are using stun setup

You need to enable Stun for the extension - Extension - Options - untick 'Disallow use of extension outside the LAN (Remote extensions using Direct SIP or STUN will be blocked)'

Also check your blacklist to see if the wan ip address has been blacklisted

Hi, yes i have that boxed unticked.
no blacklist.

If you run the firewall test, are there any issues ?

At the remote site, does domain.3cx.co.uk resolve to the wan IP address of the 3CX server

hmm, there wernt but:
testing 3CX SIP Server... failed (How to resolve?)
  • stopping service... done
  • detecting SIP ALG... not detected
  • testing port 5060... Mapping does not match 5060. Mapping is 37956.

Hello @James Dyke

It looks like your extensions are provisioned but not registered. Provisioning uses the https port so the phone is able to download the config file. Registration happens through the SIP port so make sure your ports are configured correctly on your firewall.
The first step is to pass the firewall checker to eliminate any issues there. Then you can focus on port forwarding the necessary ports at the remote site.

Hi, played with a few settings and all is working now :)

Cheers.
