Replace Custom Phone Templates

Hi All

When we first setup 3CX about 3 Years ago, we copied the templates for our Yealink handsets and customised them. As 3CX has developed we no longer need the custom templates, and we want to move to the in-built supported templates.

As far as I can see, the only way to change the template is to delete the phone on the extension, and re-add it using the supported template manually one by one.

Is that the best way to do it? Anyway of doing it in bulk?

That is the way to do it...
You could fire up a test version and see if doing an import works...
Perhaps it will over write that portion.

(Export your current extension list to see that the fields exist for MAC and Phone template selection)

Just a thought.

Hadn't thought about the Export / Import routine.
