Hi, we want to replace our Debian 10 SBC with a Debian 12 SBC as v10 is EoL

What is the process for doing it?

Shall I just install the ISO on a new VM and point the phones to the new SBC, or can I shutdown the old SBC and install the new one and use the same IP address?

Apoligisies that this is in the on-premise section but we recently moved ours to Azure but can only post here.

You can reinstall using the same IP.

Phones point to the IP as their proxy.

In the v20u2 training yesterday Nicholas said the SBCs would upgrade through the 3CX console, as in the past. I assume after 20u2 though since it isn't showing on ours. I don't think they specifically mentioned whether that upgraded Debian or just the SBC software though, hmm...

Updates within the same version can be done inline.

When you deploy the new SBC you may need to reboot your phones to re-establish the connection.
