Hi,

Is it possible to pull information from the 3CX phone system regarding the simultaneous calls? We have a customer who would like to know what the peak times are regarding simultaneous calls per trunk or PBX. I've looked at the 3CX call reports but there is no suitable option present at the moment. Is there another way to get this information visible from the PBX?

Hi @AL_SB,

You could grab the CDR output and concatenate the data to find and group calls by "time-answered", which would give you a glimpse of when the PBX's peak times in SC are reached.

@AL_SB - You might want to take a look at CallSequitur, a program I created to answer this (and other) questions about calls being made. This program provides a complete solution for capturing and analyzing CDRs (the method suggested by @VasilisV_3CX). For example, you can look at SIM call levels over any period of time:

or simply use the live updating view which will dynamically update the chart and other data (note - as this uses CDRs calls will not be shown until the call is ended and the CDR is generated):

There is a very small one-time charge to unlock the SIM call functionality. If you are interested you can find downloads & documentation here.

@VasilisV_3CX, Thanks for your reply.
@Cjay, Nice program, but it collects the data when the program is run and I would like to retrieve information from the past if possible.

True. So unless you have already been capturing CDRs (in the right format) then you would need to start from scratch - but it doesn't take long to start getting meaningful results.
