Hello everyone,,

I disconnected a phone (Yealink T48U) from 3CX and would like to connect it to my router (it ahd already been connected to it before).
However, the phone's screen still shows the 3CX interface, even after it has been plugged in and unplugged.
Do I still have to have 3CX reset the MAC address? If so, how do I do this?

I read somewhere that the MAC address is automatically reset after 14 days, but unfortunately I can't wait that long.

Many thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there.
Remove the MAC from the old system and once you add the MAC to the new Phonesystem, RPS will get updated with the new link. All you have to do later is factory reset the phone so that once it starts it will connect to the new Phonesystem.

Thank you for your answer!
How do I remove the MAC address from the old system? I removed the phone itself from 3CX but this doesn't remove the MAC address, does it?
My router is a Fritz!Box 7590 AX and I don't find a way to add the MAC address to it.

How do I remove the MAC address from the old system?
you remove it from the extension of the Phonesystem.

Are you planning to use this deskphone with the other 3CX Phonesystem?

Thank you
