Reset Passwords

Hi
I upgraded to v18 update8, I am system owner. On my desktop app in Admin/Users I see "Reset Passwords" this is for all extensions webclient passwords in the system at once.
Does this reset it so the user need to set a new one? Or does it assign a random generated new one from the system?
Will the user need to do anything from their side on next login, or will it auto provision at startup of the client?

Once you sent a reset, the user will receive an email to configure a new password.
Note that this email will expire after 24 hours, so if nothing is configured in this timeframe you will need to sent a new reset.

Yes, if you did not reset it will still work with the old credentials.
