Just received new Fanvil X4U-V2, and wanted set it up as a router phone for the eventual upgrade from V18 to V20. I initially was going to use the console, but found through the forum that there isn't an option for making it a router phone when using the console.
I went to the web client and entered the admin pages (I'm registered as the system owner). I went to see about adding a phone, but there isn't a link for that like the console. I went to the person whom I wanted to add the phone to, and found there isn't a way to add a phone if there were already other phones assigned (this is an existing user). I thought I would add a new user, assign the phone, which worked.
However, could not figure out how to delete the phone from that user and transfer it to the extension I originally wanted. Attempted to reset to factory defaults, and found that the usual key combo for Fanvil doesn't work on this phone.
Anybody had experience with this? Did I brick this phone?
