Restore on-prem v18 backup to 3cx hosting

I have acquired a client who is running v18.
The previous provider states the pbx no longer appears in their 3cx portal.
I've changed the partner the system is linked with to ours but is still doesn't appear.
I would like to restore the backup into 3cx hosting and in January, renew the license to include hosting.
Is this possible?

You can't for now. Install on-prem from a backup, renew/add hosting and then move to cloud.

Keep in mind it needs to be V20 and you can only add hosting to an 8SC license. We no longer accept new 4SC hosting
