Hello! We don't have a proper backup but we do have the Programdata folder containing the 3CX folder and many sub-dirs and files. Can someone tell me if it's possible to restore from this please?

Thanks in advance
Scott

Why did it stop working to begin with?

As long as you keep a copy (USB stick?) of those folders, just in case, you really don't have much to loose, if it isn't functioning now.

I would do a new install, then replace the new folders with the ones you still have copies of. If this is on the same machine as the original installation, you might not even have a licence issue as the MAC of the NIC will still be the same.

It might take a few attempts to make this works as it may not require replacement of all of the directories, and doing so may cause other issues.

Similar, you may need to "tickle" most settings to ensure things line up.
Tickling settings has been a bit of a problem with this system for many versions.

Put another way, you may need to go to.. an extension.. maybe change a setting.. Ok.. change it back.. Ok. The rest of the settings were fine but updating one setting magically makes the rest of them apply properly.

Sad that you didn't get a backup.. between 3CX and Windows.. it's a trivial process for either one.
