Ring being overridden

Hi there,

I have a Fanvil X6U on fw version 2.4.12 with the latest 3cx version. I have set the ringtone on the device to ringtone 6, but for some reason, ringtone 1 keeps getting used. I overrode it in the ext config, but still no dice.

I've attached a photo of the ext config and have rebooted the phone and reprovisioned more then once. Any ideas?

I should add, my inbound config is:

Virtual Rep -> Connect to ext (I only have one)

Hi,

The ringtones are sometimes dependent on the origin. For example, queue ringtones will follow the queues ringtone setting, internal calls (and most others) will follow the option you selected, but external calls are hardcoded to use Ring 2 always.

Ah I see. I switched to using a queue instead and all is well. Thank you.

I switched a client from V18 Pro 16SC to V20 Pro 16SC and now they have lost the functionality of custom ringtons for the queues. These were already part of V18. It say to upgrade to Enterprise for this functionality. It was not mentioned in any key feature changes or updates
