I've been told by our 3CX distributor that any extensions in a ring group will take up licences when the phones in that group are ringing but when I've looked around to try confirm that some say it does with others say it doesn't.
If I have a 4 simultaneous call licence and the call goes to a ring group with a ring all with 8 phones, is it taking up all 4 simultaneous call licences? What will happen to the other 4 phones? Its not answered yet so not sure how it works and cant test it because I have more than enough licences but need to know for future quoting etc.
