I deleted a ring group, then created a queue using the same extension number and a similar name. When I go into the Web Client and look at groups, then click on the name of the queue I created, the members of the old ring group are still showing. Only 5 of those former staff should be in this new queue. Any ideas on how to get this to refresh and show correctly?

You'll see EXT Groups in Webclient and Queue's under switchboard. I dont believe you can see ring groups in the webclient.

Thanks for your reply, but I have checked and Ring Groups definitely show up in the Web Client.

Under what sub heading in webclient do you see your ring group?

"People" and then "All Groups".

Those are not ring groups, they're EXT groups.

Hi @bllawrence

The People section shows Extension Groups are a collection of extensions with similar rights, and viewability. These don't have a number.

The Ring Groups are system extensions that have a number (ie. 800) and when someone calls them it will ring any extensions under it. This is similar to a queue but simpler in functionality.

If this is not what you meant, please show us a screenshot.

Ok. I'm with you now. You were exactly right. I forgot all about the extension groups. I normally just think of them as "Groups". Thank you for your assistance.
