Ring group wont stop ringing

Hello,

I am running 3cx version 15.5.8801. I had to upgrade a router at one of my remote locations and now when a call comes in on the ring group for that store the call is answered and the other phones in the ring group don't stop ringing. The two locations are connected by an IPSEC VPN and everything worked correctly until I swapped routers. I have checked the firewall between the routers and nothing is being blocked. Call quality is fine, no other issues with calls or at any other locations.

I'm assuming that the other sets are not receiving the message that the call was answered. You might first check the 3CX activity Log to see if the messages went out, and if the looked correct (IP and port). If you see that they were, and it all looks right, then you have to look at the remote send to find what is preventing the messages from getting through (Wireshark?). I assume you will find it is something the new router given that it was all working before it was replaced.

Figured it out, it was in the router. Intrusion prevention was dropping the cancel packet.
