Ring Mobile Phone using specific trunk.

I have a scenario where we have 2 trunks on our system.
By default all calls are routed in and out on trunk 1.

But there is one extension that has a DID going directly to it and we have it setup to ring the mobile device as well. What we want is to have the system dial the mobile but use the second trunk for the outgoing.

I've tried creating a group and have all calls from that group go thru that trunk, created a prefix on the 2nd trunk and modified the mobile phone number to include it.

Just can't seem to figure out how to make that happen.

Any suggestions?

Create a rule with the prefix containing the mobile number, outbound trunk will be the required trunk 2

Place this rule towards the top, as rules are process from top to bottom

If what @Saqqara mentioned doesn't work for you, we might need more info to figure this out. First off, what is happening now, is the call still going through the first trunk or is it not going to the mobile number at all?

If it's not being placed at all, the issue might not have anything to do with matching the correct Outbound Rule.
