ringing different devices

is there a way to make my web app not ring when my desk phone rings? i want to have the app up for messages but i dont want it to ring since the desk phone it taking care of that. when i get a call it's like a circus with my mobile app / web app / desk phone all ringing

Unfortunately not, if the app is open, it will also ring when the extension is called. For the mobile app, though, you can uncheck the account to un-provision it, but not for the Webclient. You can turn off the ringer in the upcoming version of update 8 (currently released as an RC version). For now, you can always lower the device volume set for the Ringer.
