Ringtone File Location IS NOT Correct

I should go to this file path, but my computer (windows 10, Softphone Version 5.1.0.3) doesn't have that location: C:\ProgramData\3CXPhone for Windows\PhoneApp\Sounds .

Can someone help? I can't stand how loud this ringtone is. It kills my ears. Why not just give an option to change the ringer volume separate from the talk volume? So basic.

You will have to show 'hidden items' to be able to see C:\programdata folder.

Just checked, folder exists on my machine

I do not recal a Softphone for Windows with a version 5.1.0.3, are you using a 3CX SoftPhone?

Today´s version is some thing like 15.5.1227.5
And for this version the path exist.

Yea, that is sure NOT a 3cx Softphone, do you have a 3Cx Phonesystem?
If so, please send yourself a Welcome e-mail from your Extension and follow the guide

What do you mean it's not a 3cx softphone? It's from 3cs Softphone...It says it all over the software.

I work for a company and they use it...the ringer is so loud though it hurts my ears so I want to change the ringtone file.

Yes, but you installed a CX One softphone, NOT a 3CX softphone

Please note that what you are using is not the 3CX client for windows. If the company you work for has a 3CX phone system please have the administrator send you a new welcome email. The download link is included in the welcome email.
