Router phones question

Can I check if it is still the case that router phones can not be configured as hot desk phones?

I can't find a clear answer in the documentation. I can find an old discussion online that says you can't, but on adding a new hot desk phone it appears as an option.

What happens if you try it?

I imagine its fine for sole use as a router phone but not ideal to be an SBC as it'll reboot when its re provisioning.

Especially if it's only an SBC for itself, this should not be a concern.

You can use router phones as hot desking phones, just like you do with non hot desking ones.

There are no reboots to worry about when logging in or out of extensions.

Thanks - working well, can confirm no reboots. I did try before I posted without success, but I suspect I simply wasn't patient enough for the provisioning which seems to take slightly longer than usual.
