Hi all,

We were notified yesterday by our SIP trunk provider of calls to a UK premium number (0900) which was the result of a mobile number that started as +447900 changing to an 0900 number somehow so just trying to work out what may have gone wrong. Please see details below, we have amended the number under the user (208) to be 07900 instead of +447900 and that seems to have fixed it:

@MPServeline can you please elaborate ? What is the issue you are facing ? Because you mentioned " seems to have fixed it "
So it was fixed for incoming calls ( on DID level ) but not for outbound calls ? Do you need to send the call out with number starting with " 07900" ?
Because if so, then you will have to adjust your ourbount rule and the Strip and Prepend section.
Can you please give us more details on the call flow you are trying to achive here ?

Hi,

Yes, just trying to work out why it is adjusting +447900 to +44900? The mobile number in the UK is 07900 so need to be sure that goes out and can't work out why when it's +447900 it strips the 7 but works fine if the number is input as 07900

This may be due to several reasons, did you keep a copy of the Activity Log, showing the call going to the premium number?

Do you have E.164 set up in 3CX?
Could the calls be using a different rule, one above the "regular rule"?
How specific is the rule when dealing with the leading digits, of the dialed number?
