I am using a Samsung Galaxy Player with Android 2.3.5. 3CX is 1.3.4. Incomming calls work fine. Cannot make outgoing calls. Enter phone number, hit green call icon, screen just goes back to is original state.

Is this used in conjunction with the 3CX PBX, or another provider? If with 3CX PBX, does the 3CX PBX log show the incoming call attempt?

I am using an external voip provider...ViaTalk.com

This is using 3G, WiFi, or both?

If it is registering properly, and I assume it is as you are receiving calls, then it may be an incompatibility issue with your particular handset. Have you confirmed that you are sending the correct digits, have you used this service (user name password), with this provider, from another device (ATA)?

Have you tried this from more than one WiFi router?

I use XTen software on both a PC and laptop, with no issues. I only have one router. But did dry to work with it on a guest system, but I do not know the router, did not work.

Thank you

If you have a separate modem and router at home, you may want to insert a hub (not a switch) and connect a PC running Wireshark. It might give some insight as to what is being sent (if anything), to your provider when you press send. If there is nothing, then I would have to assume that it is a handset compatibility issue.

Interesting suggestion...didnt know you could do that. I will try it. Do you know if anyone at 3CX has actually tested this software on a Samsung Galaxy Player?
Thanks

any update on this

Here is a link to the page that lists tested phones.

If a set that you are trying to use is not listed, then you are "on your own". I'm sure that 3CX is not able to obtain every version of Android handset from all over the world, and there may be enough differences, even between models from the same manufacturer, that it may not work no mater what you tweak.
