Hello,

In order to make a call from our office to outside numbers we have set up a prefix in outbound rules. However, we don't want to save a number in the contacts list with this prefix, we just want to save the actual number of the contact but, naturally, when we call this contact the call drops because it doesn't match any outbound rule. Is there any way to implement this without having to make a new outbound rule?

without having to make a new outbound rule
I don't think you can avoid this. Your existing outbound rule is for prefixed numbers, so you will need to make a new one for unprefixed numbers.

Thanks for your reply. I was thinking something like automatically prefixing all 10-digit numbers. Would that be possible? I tried to make an outbound rule to prepend the prefix to all 10-digit numbers and placed it above our standard outbound rule in hopes that it might check against the next rule. It didn't work.

I'm not very skilled in configuring PBX, so take my advice as a hint only:
I would keep the current outbound rule and I will create a new one based on exact digits count.
Therefore, the first one (assumingly) strips the first digit (the prefix), while the second one check for number's length (say 8 for like 22202352)

So, people who already saved with prefix "7" and dial 722202352 will fall in first rule, while people dialing straight 22202352 will fall in second rule.
