We have a 3CX instance running in Azure, with a local SBC running on VMware
Our primary internet connection is pretty stable for the most part, but does cut out a good several times a month momentarily.
We have a backup internet connection which is pretty terrible and only meant for emergency failover if the primary connection goes down.
The SBC does a great job of keeping our phones connected during an emergency failover, but the problem is that it doesn't switch back to the primary connection once it's restored.
Even if the primary WAN connection only goes down for a few seconds, the SBC will stay connected to the secondary until we either reset the SBC or physically pull the plug on the 2nd WAN port.
Any suggestions how we can configure the SBC to prefer the primary connection if available?
The only thing I can think to do is schedule a nightly reboot of the SBC in the wee hours.
We using a UBNT Unifi USG Pro for our WAN and Failover rules.
