I am attempting to configure a SBC HA Cluster. I have been struggling to get this functioning, and i believe this is my issue.

My Debian9 mini pc's have interface names such as enxt7t7t7t7t7t and enxr5r5r5r5r5r.

What is the best method to change these to match, such as eth01? I am new to Debian, an I really dont want to break something else while trying to fix this.

thank you.
Rick

Hi @rickybogo,

Before starting to follow the SBC HA Guide, I suggest having all of your requirements, such as both nodes having the same interface names, met to mitigate any conflicts while configuring the SBC HA Cluster. There should not be a problem if this is the case.

i was able to change the interface names on the Debian units i have, to match. That was my issue. Good to know for anyone else, make sure they match.

That is true, as it's also listed as one of the pre-requisites in our guide.

In any case, glad to hear you got this resolved!
