Solved SBC not picking up Fanvil X4U

Hi All

i'm just at a customers site and they have a very basic network.

Technicolor route with a fanvil and the SBC Pi.

Pi is online and connected in 3CX which is hosted.

When I put on the phone (using latest 3CX FW) it's not showing up in the phones tab.

Im wondering if the technicolor is blocking multicast some how.

Can anyone tell me how to manually provision this to use the SBC?

Live wireshark filter ip.addr == 224.0.1.75 doesnt show anything.. I've put the Pi and the phone on a switch and still nothing in the wireshark capture.

I had to put the LAN IP where the SBC is in the allowed IP list as I had specific IPs in the admin console.

I thought I did this but I made a typo on the network range :'(

Ok spoke too soon... the phone appeared and now it's gone again and i'm just about to throw myself out a window.

final update..

Rookie error... Its the first time i've taken my MACBOOK to site and i've been using safari (muscle memory to use this browser!) I've been configuring this PBX all afternoon on Safari and it's only just become a problem when trying to find this phone in the phones tab. I opened up Chrome and holy F the phone is there.

Now this thread can be marked as complete >_<
