Seems after a restart of the PBX or at random times, this SEC_IGNORE_USER_AGENT list gets reverted, its not permanent

is there a task we can schedule to configure this list? i want to remove an agent from that list

thnx in advance

Hi @NoFate,

There is no task that I'm aware of, that you can run to configure this. This is a security feature that I wouldn't suggest editing. I'll leave this open in case anyone has had a similar use case and found a work-around.

Hi @VasilisV_3CX , but is there another way to make this list permanent?
what is the cause that it reverts?

if we configure the PBX with a on premise , instead of cloud, will that help? is there a difference then?
i really need to remove an agent from that list, there must be a way

thnx!

or is there maybe somekind of whitelist ? that will override this blacklist?

Hi @NoFate,

I'm afraid I'm not aware of any way to change it permanently. I don't believe changing to on prem from cloud hosted will have any effect on this.

what event is changing this back ? maybe i can schedule something, to revert it back after this event

can you ask the support team, how to change this list with a task ?

thnx

They just said it's not possible to have it permanently set. Why are you still asking?

It's not possible.

looking for a workaround , everything is possible

Well, the workaround is use another device or another PBX.

Otherwise, play with unsupported stuff but nobody will help you.

i'm not asking for unsupported stuff, i am asking if i can create somekind of task to change that list periodally
i cant just use another device, its part of an intercom

Like we said, you cannot in any supported way.

No APIs or anything. Those parameters are saved in the database, and the fact that it gets reversed means something is updating it, so accessing the database to change it is VERY not recommended.

So, it's unsupported methods or supported but not working.

There's not a solution just because you said so.
