Hi all!

So as the title suggests - we are having issues with scheduled reports being issued at incorrect times and not always being sent via emails.

We are on v18.0 (Build 461) - 18.0.3.461. I read that this was a known issue in v18 and was resolved in the U2 hotfix - however, it doesn't seem to have been resolved in our case.

Has anyone else experienced this issue on build 461 before? And more importantly, was there a fix found :P ?

Thank you!

What is the base OS and is the time correct on there?

Base OS = Windows Server 2016 and the time is indeed correct

What else is the server doing? Backups? What is the SMTP server, what is the firewall/router?

The Server is a dedicated 3CX server - of course we have schedule backups running however on a totally different time to the reports. SMTP is Office365 and we haven't modified anything there. Firewall/router wise - all CISCO based and we have not modified anything from that end either.

Can you replicate the issue at will?

I would try using 3CX's SMTP for a day or two to see if the issue follows.

Hmmm at will - no. The issue is very sporadic - We shall have a handful of accurate reports - and then 2 or 3 random days. Can't seem to pin it down. That is why I had originally assumed it must be a software related issue.

Regarding changing SMTP - I shall start looking into it. Would you happen to have the 3CX SMTP detail available on hand?

It's just a drop down, select their server. no details required.

After doublechecking - it would appear I was wrong - and we are indeed using the 3CX SMTP server. I was mistaken about O365

You may need to up the logging on your 3CX but you need to look in the 3cxsystemservice.log and search for

|Info|Report created, sending email

alternatively, set up with your 365 SMTP and then you can look at those logs.
