Hi,

I have a client with 3 offices each with a different number.
Office 1 : receive all calls until 12-1 at GRP_1.
Office 2 : receive calls starting from noon. Before redirect from GRP_2 to GRP_1
Office 3 : receive calls starting from noon. Before redirect from GRP_3 to GRP_1

People at Office 1 don't know which number the caller called, is it office 1 2 or 3 ?
They see the caller number and would like to see the number called or at least the group's name that redirected to their number.
Any idea on how to do it ?

Hello,

am assuming you are using version 11, under call log reports you should see a section showing the hops the number went through.Check under the header: Reason. if it moved from one group to another you will see something like:
Group 1 (820) replaced by Doe, Jane (376)

Yep I see it.
But how could a normal user see which group got called directly when receiving the call ?
Like "Incoming Call from XXXXXXX, forwarded from Grp 2" for exemple.

In the management console, Advanced > Contacts > Options (button), is "Add Group, Queue or DID/DDI Names to Caller ID" set?

It's set, but when calls are forwarded from Grp 2 or 3, Grp 1 got something like that "Grp 1 - Caller ID"
Grp 2 & Grp 3 are ring groups, while Grp 1 is a queue.
Is it possible that Grp 1 get something like "Forwarded from Grp X, Caller ID" ?
