I have been paying for the cloud hosted enterprise service, but I recently swapped out a tp link router for a newer tp link. Anyhow the ports trying to set all this up with the new router has been a nightmare for me. My question is, do I need to have/keep my Windows 2019 server, I am using a SBC but I don't know if I need this. I have two newer fanvil phones. Everything was working good until I decided to get this new tp link router.

Okay so to understand correctly, you have a Cloud hosted instance, but where? 3CX, Azure, GCP, AWS, other?

Also, the Windows 2019 I'm guessing is acting as SBC. You may wanna look into the router phones feature coming in U6. Depending on your Fanvil models.

Kinda strange you're having issues but it might be as simple as disabling SIP ALG in the router. Often in the firewall settings or "application services".

Sorry, I am using 3cx hosted cloud.

Yes, Windows 2019 server is running the SBC. I bought these newer Fanvil X5U phones not too long ago, less then a year.

SIP ALG is disabled. I am going to attach screenshots of my TPlink settings. I am pretty sure I got something wrong. I was trying to follow the instructions for setting up the ports but what is incoming vs. outgoing is confusing to me.

Port triggering is not the same thing.

Also, if your PBX is cloud hosted, DO NOT FORWARD ANY PORTS. The SBC creates a tunnel that bypasses all of that.

It should just work. If you're having issues, it's probably your network equipment or cables.

You have setup an SBC but probably its not correctly configured and your phones are not using it and your new router is blocking your voip.

I suggest you update to update 6, then reconfigure one of the newer Fanvil phones as the router phone (i.e. SBC) and you can remove all that configuration from the firewall/router. Maybe you need a partner to help you do it. But steps are here - setup deskphones
