I would like to define an extension that I can send calls to without having to register it. I.E. 3CX would just send an invite to [email protected] without having to first register the extension. Is that possible?

Thanks,

Larry

Currently, it's not possible, because there's no way to speify IP of extension from web-interface. It could be acquired only by registration.

Register a trusted source

I have an endpoint that can register but is not capable of authincation. Is there any way to accept a registration without requiring authincation?

Thanks,

Larry

Yes. Just make blank Password field in Authentication section of Edit extension screen.

No luck

I thought of that and tried it again after reading your suggestion. Did not work. When I set up the ext. I did it with out an auth name and password. Then tried putting the ext. number in the name, blanking out the password. did not work either.

What can I send you do document this?

Larry
