Greetings,

I’m trying to replicate specific functionality a grocery store wants to preserve from there original phone system. They had two “party” lines “green” and “red”. The store was populated with green and red phones. Picking up green phone immediately connected the caller with every other off hook green phone in a party call.

I’ve created two audio conferences and scheduled them 15 years in the future. I’ve setup new IP phones to hot dial an IVR. I need to program IVR options (“green” and “red”) to immediately connect to my audio conferences. I do *not* want the user to have to dial the conference ID. Eg. user picks up phone and presses “1” for “Red conference” or “2” for green conference. A plus of using the IVR is they can also dial an extension directly and I can put directions in the IVR prompt. Any suggestions on how to accomplish this? Do I need to build a call routing app? Can a call routing app do this? Another way?

Thanks!

Are you wanting 2 way chat or broadcast? If the latter you transfer to a paging group.

Hi. Yes, this is possible.

This will require the use of the 3CX Call Flow Designer (CFD) however.

You will create a call flow, with a menu component. Option 1 will go to the Green party line and option 2 will go to the Red party line.

When you schedule these conferences, you will have the conference IDs given to you in the invite Google, email etc. Take a note of these.

In your menu components, you will need to have the call transferred to 700*GREENPARTYLINECONFID

GREENPARTYLINECONFID is the number you got when creating the conference for the green line.

Repeat for option 2 for the red line.
