Send original CID when making a blind transfer

I have been looking all over the web for this but all suggested solutions did not work for me.

I have this:

Agent A receives an external call
Agent A wants to transfer the call to Agent B
when agent A calls B to transfer call, B sees it as an internal call from A

Where do I have to look in order to make Agent B see the original CID and not Agent A on screen?

Been looking for this all over the place and modified all sorts of conf files but to no avail. Please point me in the right direction.

It can depend on a number of factors which includes the phone types and how they do blind transfer.

Thanks for your help Bob.

I already tried setting trustrpid and sendrpid to yes in the trunks and features.conf and their custom and additional files but to no luck. I also set blindxfer=1 in features.conf file and realoaded but to no luck. Something I did notice was that value returning to its original value again. Features.conf indicates that this is generated from FreePBX but it does not say where I have to go to make this change.

The link you supplied is great but it gets me to square one since I already tried that. Any painless way to accomplish this?

Worked on this at phones level, had to make a little ajustment to the provisioning files.
