Sending calls to Digital Receptionist with *

I've just setup hosted 3CX, system greeting for my ext and I want to sent calls to the digital receptionist when caller press asterisk (*). But the DR is using a default, uneditable extension, how can I fix this?

The DR’s default extension is not a value you would normally change. Calls should be routed to the DR through the menu destination instead.

I think the best option is to create an IVR that acts as an intermediary: if the caller presses 1, the call is routed to the other Digital Receptionist; if no input is received within a specified time, the call is routed to your extension.
