When I use the bluetooth dongle that the headset comes with, the BTD 800, my audio quality is "fuzzy." It's just not as clear as I'm used to.
The funny thing is that when I don't use the dongle, and rather connect direct to the computer via bluetooth, the audio quality is perfect and crystal clear. The only problem with that is that I lose the headset button control functionality to answer and hang up calls using the EPOS Connect w/ 3cx plugin.
I looked at the sound playback device properties and there is a difference.
When connected through the BTD 800 USB dongle, the EPOS BTD 800 Headset Earphone audio format is listed at 2 channel, 16bit, 48000Hz (DVD quality). Adjusting this setting is grayed out.
When connected directly to the computer, the Headset Sennheiser MB Pro 1 Hands-Free AG Audio format is listed at 1 channel 16 bit 16000Hz (Tape recorder quality). Adjusting this setting is grayed out.
Has anyone come across something similar? I'm using the Windows 3cx client.
