I have a strange 'thing' on android phones Huawei P20 Lite and Samsung J3...

When clients call to our company they can make a choice to a que where some agents are configured.

When an agent take the call the 3cx screen is within almost 1 second changed to the normal android phone ! and the call is still there... we still can talk but all features for easy forwarding are not available... because the android phone 'take over' the 3cx screen !!!!

There is no way to go back to the 3cx screen within the call ?

Is this normal ? or is there a special 'hidden' config item.. Is this some Android setting ? Maybe someone know

We tried several ways but all within 1 second the mobile default GSM phone is take over the screen.... and lost all 3cx features.... (forwarding etc)

Thats very strange.
Is it possible, you checked the "Ring my mobile simultaneously" in the forwarding properties setting of the extension. That would be a simple explanation.

Thanks....Yep thats very strange.... and your comment was already on my mind but for one extension it is,.. but not for the other one !!... I gonna try something there

It is in this setting from the "Ring my mobile simultaneously" when OFF everything went fine

I tried together with the Windows 3CX client and an Iphone client and Android client... Now it's OK

But the strange thing exists when you put that Ring config ON... First 3CX ringing and within seconds de Mobile itself is ringing... sometimes it take over the 3CX screen and sometimes not...

But all this happened when you play with setting with all clients together....

What is the suppose of that config I ask myself ? Why you should ever use that !!!

"Also ring my mobile" feature provides a convenient binding between the SIP PBX and a non-SIP phone. As examples, you may have
- a SIP Granstream desktop phone at work and a non-SIP Nokia mobile.
- a non-SIP Panasonic DECT phone at home and a SIP 3CX client on your Android/iOS mobile.

Thanks Vali... Now I understand also....

I need some clarification on this.
  1. You receive a call.
  2. You answer it.
  3. There's 2 way audio.
  4. The screen shows NO call. It just shows the dialpad as it usually does, right?

Set the Ring my mobile to ON

1. You receive a call
2. You want to anwer it and noticed that 3CX screen is changed to normal Phone (within second)
3. There's two way audio
4. The screen is Android phone without 3CX features

Set the Ring my mobile to OFF

1. You receive a call
2. You want to anwer it
3. There's two way audio
4. The screen is 3CX with features (normal)

Then Vali explain where the setting is for mentioned...
