Services will not start

Good day,

We are running 3CX with the trial license. We have ordered a full PRO license but have not received it from our partner yet or I'd submit a proper ticket. I'm using this temporary setup to configure the system and get the project moving.

Late yesterday, I started seeing the web portal down with 403 Forbidden. Digging in, various services are failing to start with the error:

Description: A .NET Core application failed.
Application: 3CXManagementConsole.exe
Path: C:\Program Files\3CX Phone System\Bin\3CXManagementConsole.exe
Message: Error:
An assembly specified in the application dependencies manifest (3CXManagementConsole.deps.json) was not found:
package: 'MongoDB.Libmongocrypt', version: '1.0.0'
path: 'lib/netstandard1.5/MongoDB.Libmongocrypt.dll'

Windows 10, fully updated. 3CX is fully updated. I found a copy of the .dll file and tried to re-register it, but it does not register (not all .dll's can be registered). I searched in Windows Explorer and cannot find a folder called netstandard1.5 to place the .dll file in.

Is there a way to re-install this dll or the mongo drivers? I searched and it looks like it is distributed with the program.

No production down or anything terrible here; just trying to keep our new phone system project progressing.

It maybe quicker to reinstall

Do you have a backup of the system, if so move the backup to a folder outside of 3cx

uninstall 3cx
reboot system
delete 3cx folders in c:\programdata , c;\program files
reinstall , select restore from backup

If you do not have backup, try dos backup command - https://www.3cx.com/docs/backup-restore-command-line/#h.cw2r6zdqo145 - use full option

Same thing happens to me last week after last update. The only way to resolve this was doing a fresh reinstall and upload a backup.
