End user wants to access a different extension voicemail on Their phone. Can this be added to a button on Their phone?

Email doesn't work as they have no speakers.

Is there a short code I can use?

Hello,

You have to dial the usual voicemail number, and when the IVR answers, press # so it will ask you for an extension number.

You can now enter the extension you wish to access, and then their PIN.

Note: this requires that you do not Disable Voicemail PIN Authentication on your own extension. If your PIN is disabled, you will not have the opportunity to press # at all.

do you know if there is a way to program this under a key on a yealink T46U?

It cannot be programmed with a key, you have to go via the IVR.

You can make a BLF using Custom Speed Dial for the 999 extension but can't put in keystrokes after dialing.

Yes, as you pointed out this will achieve nothing. Plus, the phone already has the "voicemail" envelope icon button provisioned to 999

If you want to do custom templates, you could possibly accomplish this, but it would be unsupported and doesn't work on StartUp or Hosted by 3CX..

Thanks Steve.
I need to give voicemail access to a virtual extension. Using a blf key makes it easy for the user.
I don't think it can be done thou.

This can be done, but it's not a BLF. All of our secretaries have this menu. This is done via accounts from the phone UI.

Thank you, i will give this a try. I assume you use the auth username and password for the V extension ? anything else i need to do?

Problem is that 3CX provisioning will wipe it out every day. So either you remove the provisioning link from the phone and do all changes manually OR you write custom templates.
