I'm trying to set the backup location to SFTP on Azure blob. It fails with the big long exception with ends with:

Code:
Renci.SshNet.Common.SshException: WriteOverlap: The WRITE range overlaps the uncommitted file content.
   at Renci.SshNet.Sftp.SftpSession.RequestWrite(Byte[] handle, UInt64 serverOffset, Byte[] data, Int32 offset, Int32 length, AutoResetEvent wait, Action`1 writeCompleted)
   at Renci.SshNet.Sftp.SftpFileStream.FlushWriteBuffer()
   at Renci.SshNet.Sftp.SftpFileStream.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
   at System.IO.Stream.Close()
   at _3cxFilesystemImplementations.SFTP.FixedSftpFileStream.Close()
   at System.IO.Compression.ZipArchive.CloseStreams()
   at System.IO.Compression.ZipArchive.Dispose(Boolean disposing)
   at System.IO.Compression.ZipArchive.Dispose()
   at _3cxNetBackupAndRestore._3cxBackup.FinishingTask()

I read at https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-sftp-backup-to-aws-s3.70847/ that the solution to this is apparently to set
Code:
ALWAYS_USE_TMP_FILE_FOR_BACKUP
in Settings > Parameters.

However I don't think Parameters is available in Self-Hosted?? I see it in one of our on-prem systems, but not on a 3cx Hosted instance.

So how do I get that set? And/or another way to get to write to Azure (or AWS) sftp?

Thanks
Alan

Please be advised that Azure blob is not a supported backup/archive destination within 3cx.

You may use a dedicated VPS machine for your SFTP server, but AWS S3 and Azure Blob are not supported as mentioned here: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/pbx-backup-restore-failover/, or you can use google buckets which are supported.

If just realised that, for Hosted of course, backups are done by yourselves, with rollback on request. So that's probably good enough for us!

Correct, but it is also recommended that the systems should also be backed up by the system admin, as the backups we take cannot be used to restore to another system outside of the 3cx hosting environment. Admins should therefore backup and store backups offline, in a remote backup location, outside the 3cx hosting machines.
