We had planned to use the SFTP storage with 3CX using rsync.net. The issue is that 3CX systematically adds an initial '/' to the path which breaks it.

There are two possibilities and rsync.net maps the paths back to the effective storage path on their servers:
- relative path such as sftp://<user>.rsync.net:backups
- absolute path with ~ such as sftp://<user>.rsync.net:~/backups

but 3CX generates sftp://<user>.rsync.net:/backups and sftp://<user>.rsync.net:/~/backups which are both incorrect.

Is their any way to work around this in order to be able to use rsync.net for 3CX storage ?

Best regards,
Gilles

Hi,

While we get more feedback on this, what if you use a true absolute path without a leading / ? --> home/<user>/backup/ ?

Hi,

rsync.net does not allow that. It is not possible to know what the true absolute storage path is.
