Our client is wanting to get away from emailed vm. So we started to adjust the voicemail button on 2 T54 and 1 T57 to go to *4999 for the main menu options. They have a specific extension just for a unified VM for everyone. The T57 works great asking for extension number and then pin of course and access to email, but the T54 won't work dialing *4999 directly and always ask for pin. Keep in mind vm is disabled on the 3 phones user extensions. Am I missing something this seems very trivial and I am not as seasoned as you fine individuals :) Would love to hear feedback :)

999 is the default voicemail number which will ask for a PIN, though on dedicated servers one can press # to enter another extension number. I think this is what you're looking for? AFAIK there's not a way to automate the login via BLF.

*4nnn is the dial code for "connect me directly to the voicemail for extension nnn so I can leave a message."

Thanks, odddly enough that worked for another client. Just tried *4ext it does go to voicemail. But we are looking to listen to voicemail from that call*. * or # doesn't work during this is whey we were going main menu format.

Is this an SMB or multi tenant account? Listening to other voicemail isn't supported there.

Don't have multitenant license I wish we did. This is enterprise, oddly enough we just stick with that because of MS integrations and such*

Hello,

Can you 'factory reset' one phone and then re-provision again?
The phone can have settings to rule out the dial of * or #
In this case we can rule our any of the settings in the phone, as it should be back to stock.

on yealink blfs you can use the comma to switch to dtmf.
to call vm for ext 100 with pin 4711 you can try
999,#1004711#

Vm PIN has to be switched on!

Still didn't work going to try and factory reset one of the phones*

Factory reset put them in the state where 999 brings up the main menu if vm is disabled for user account. And now working as expected thanks for suggestion.
